Arizona Broadway Theatre, Phoenix's premier professional theatre, seeks a Technical Director to fill a permanent, full time salaried position. Qualified candidates should have a minimum 3-5 years professional experience and bachelors degree in theatre or related field, masters degree preferred. Knowledge of rigging and drafting as well as excellent carpentry skills and welding experience required. CAD/Vectorworks knowledge a plus. Responsibilities include maintaining budgets, analysis of plans for materials and costs; ordering of materials; supervising shop staff, maintenance of shop, tools, equipment and production, along with overseeing load-ins and changeovers. Salary commensurate with experience.
